In class we have started discussing ways to keep our bodies healthy. Students came up with exercise, brushing our teeth, healthy eating, sleeping and washing our hands. Here is a look at some activities we have done to celebrate this exploration.

Yard Sale
Students have been fascinated with our current study of Canadian coins. Andre suggested we have a yard sale because that is how we share our toys with their kids. Everyone loves selecting classroom items to sell and use coins for price tags. Our cashiers have been great at checking that the money matches the price tag.

Electronic Valentines
Today students practiced making valentines for their friends both with paper and with the iPad. Students loved "mailing" them to their friends by placing them in their valentine bags.
