Nail Salon

After Ms. Leigh shared her experience at the nail salon she noticed many friends were still interested in it. So we opened up a nail salon with watercolout paints in our design studio.

Butterfly Release

This week we released all of the butterflies that hatched from their chrysalis's. We were sad to see them go but excited to have documented all of our observations in our science journal.

Teacher In Training

So many of our students are eager to take on leadership roles in our classroom including taking over our Poem of The Week Activities and Sharing Circle. They are such great leaders!

Snakes!

Our students have been approaching us lately full of wonder about a variety of topics. They are asking us to learn about many different things including snakes, caterpillars and Hawks. We asked the students to record their questions about snakes and together with the help of library books and Google we learned quite a bit about these reptiles!
