Today in honor of Remembrance Day we read a story by Todd Parr called the Peace Book. It has a great global yet child like interpretation of Peace. It led to a nice discussion of why we celebrate Remembrance Day and why we wear poppies. In response to "What does Peace mean" we had some great answers which included:
" to be a good friend"
" to remember the people who died"
" to share our toys"
" to use our inside voices"
" to have a bed" and " to have food"
